Between buying or making costumes, decorating the house, and getting candy for trick-or-treaters, Halloween costs can add up quickly. To avoid breaking the bank further, we have compiled a list of 7 Halloween recipes that are made the coupon clipping way, using as many ingredients as possible that can be purchased with a coupon. lollipop ghosts Lollypop Ghosts

Ingredients / Coupons:

 

Process:

  1. Lay out one tootsie pop with one tissue and about six inches of ribbon.
  2. Wrap the tissue around the tootsie pop. The tootsie pop is the head of the ghost.
  3. Use the ribbon to tie underneath the head of the ghost.
  4. Draw on a face to the ghost using markers.

 

Bloody Popcorn with Optional Rainbow Guts

Ingredients:

  • Butter
  • Popcorn
  • M&M's
  • Red Food Coloring

 

Process:

  1. Pop the popcorn in the microwave.
  2. Melt the amount of butter you would like to add to your popcorn with 2-3 drops of red food coloring (enough to make the butter red not pink or orange).
  3. Toss the pop corn with the red butter.
  4. Mix in the M&M's.

 

Pumpkin Pancakes

Ingredients:

  • 2/3 cup Pumpkin Puree
  • 2 Cups Busquick
  • 1 1/2 cups water
  • Cooking spray
  • Pan or griddle

 

Process:

  1. Heat up your griddle or pan and coat in cooking spray.
  2. While your griddle is heating up mix together all ingredients until combined.
  3. Once griddle is hot spoon on pancakes in the size you would like.
  4. Flip pancakes once they begin to bubble.
  5. Remove and enjoy.

 

Snake Bits in Bloody Dirt

Ingredients:

  • 1 1/2 cups Ziti Pasta
  • 1 large container of Spagetti Sauce
  • 1 lb ground beef
  • 2 12 oz containers of Squeeze cheese
  • casserole dish

 

Process:

  1. Cook the Ziti pasta until it is almost fully cooked.
  2. Remove and allow to Cool.
  3. While Pasta is cooling cook ground beef fully.
  4. Once beef is cooked remove from heat and combine with tomato sauce.
  5. Fill each of the pasta's with squeeze cheese.
  6. Place the cheese filled pasta into a casserole dish.
  7. pour the meat sauce over the pasta.
  8. bake at 350 for 30 minutes or until heated fully.
  9. Enjoy, the surprise will come when everyone first bites into the snakes!

 

Vampire Blood Smoothie

Ingredients:

  • 1 Cup Welch's Strawberry Breeze
  • 1/2 cup ice &/or Soy Milk
  • 6 Large Strawberries
  • Blender

 

Process:

  1. Place Juice and Strawberries into the blender.
  2. Once Juice and strawberries are smooth add ice cubes &/or Soy Milk.
  3. Serve in a Tall Glass.

Ingredients:

  • Chocolate Pudding
  • Oreos or Oreo crumbs
  • A handful of Gummy Worms
  • Milano Cookies
  • individual glasses or baking dish

 

Process:

  1. Spoon the prepared chocolate pudding into individual cups or a 13 x 9 baking dish. Clear dishes are prefered so you can see the layers.
  2. If you have oreo crumbs pour these on top of the pudding evenly coating it in a layer of oreos. If you have whole cookies crush them up until they are small crumbly chunks and spread to cover the pudding.
  3. Next place the Gummy Worms around the dirt, push a few in so it looks like they are crawling out.
  4. Finally shove in Milano cookies so that only half is showing. These will serve as tomb stones in the grave yard.
  5. For further effect you can add any other candies you find that are spooky.

 

raisin gnats Raisin Gnats

Ingredients:

 

Process:

  1. Melt the chocolate either in the microwave or on the stove using a double boiler.
  2. While the chocolate is melting cover the bottom of a cookie sheet with wax paper.
  3. Once the chocolate is melted place a raisin on each prong of a fork and dunk the raisins into the chocolate.
  4. Remove the raisins from the fork and place them on the wax paper.
  5. Repeat until all raisins are covered.
  6. Stick two pieces of shredded coconut into the top side of each of the raisins. These will be the gnats antennas.
  7. Place them in the refridgerator to solidify.
