Coupons may still be king in the battle of the budget, but as any savvy saver will tell you, these days there are plenty more tricks to reduce your bottom line. With that in mind, we've been excited to introduce our brand new "Savings Guides" for over 200 top merchants found here at Coupon Sherpa. Now when you're searching for, say, Sears coupons, you'll also have access to additional custom shopping tips and frugal advice covering topics like free shipping, merchant credit cards, email deals, outlets and more.
Though we're confident our Guides will already result in bigger savings for you and yours, we like to think of this as one big frugal family. So from 6/7 to 6/9, we're looking for your advice on how to save. Just leave a personal tip, trick or observation in the form of a comment on selected Savings Guides, and you'll be entered into a random drawing for a $30 gift card for that merchant. Our readers get more valuable cost-cutting wisdom, our winner get free cash to spend at their favorite stores. Everybody wins!
Stay tuned to this blog post and Twitter for which merchant pages have the eligible guides. Good luck!

If you own a nook or have a nook app, like the nook on Facebook, where they announce a free book selection every friday and sometimes on other special days, like Earth Day or MLK Day. That's in addition to the free books you can get at BN.com

I save by only buying what I truly need each week. I make a list and once everything is crossed off I pay and leave the store.
